Easy There
(Jan-March 2009 (WIP, to be completed shortly))
Arthur is an Oxford Blue. Merlin is an Oxford cox. Lancelot is Merlin's romantic-dalliance-loving friend. Morgana is horribly clever; Gwen is cleverly waiting for Lancelot to grow up. Merlin and Arthur rub each other the wrong way, at first, but it soon becomes clear that Arthur is a university-class rower with a world-class heart (yes, I typed that). Clichés ensue.

A Very Serious Business Story (March 2009; Merlin/Babysitters' Club crossover. Er.), ~8,800 words. A direct result of [livejournal.com profile] nicolasechs's "Wishlist of Crack":
1. Gwen/(Claudia) Morgana goodness; 2. SURFING, including but not limited to, Arthur teaching Merlin how to surf and making fun of how pale Merlin is. And/or beach volleyball; 3. Nimueh seducing Arthur, which leads to MISUNDERSTANDINGS between him and Merlin; 4. Merlin rescuing Arthur from certain doom from each of the mothers (all of whom have a vendetta against Uther or the Pendragon family or some such); 5. Lance/Arthur BONDING (but not in a bad touch sort of way); 6. Merlin gets tipsy (WARNING: underage drinking), and there are confessions; 7. MAGIC; 8. UNICORNS; 9. RAINBOWS; 10. The kids put on a show! (May or may not lead to complete abandonment of morals and flouting of sexual mores, etc.); 11. Aforementioned kid kits of awesome by Merlin and Arthur and Gwen and Morgana; 12. And finally, narwhals, AKA THE UNICORNS OF THE OCEAN.

Three Tasks
(December 2008), ~30,600 words.
Arthur is the Royal Arbiter for Suitable Suitors' Disputes. He (and his trusty companion, the golden-dragon-tasselled hat) alone can determine who is fit to woo royal servants and other assorted courtiers in Uther's court. (In light of the preceding sentence, the following may not appear to be a truthful statement, but: not as cracky as that makes it sound. Really.)
In Part One: Arthur arbitrates a dispute (with heretofore unforeseen wisdom); Merlin observes. In Part Two: in a Rather Predictable Set of Events, Merlin becomes the object of a Suitable Suitors' Dispute. Arthur attempts to arbitrate. This time, he does not do so well.

Fyrgearwunga (Materials for a Fire)
(December 2008- (WIP))
Some sort of exercise in re-imagining tragedy, at the end of Camelot, with a view to making it--well, not tragic.

Oh dear, I'm pretty sure this isn't where I'm supposed to ask, but would you mind if I wanted to podfic Seven Magpies and In Want of a Wife? Unless they're already being done that is :)
If you want to hear what I sound like first, I've done some podfics that you can download here for a test drive.
