I'm loving this so very much. I love the intracies of court--the servants and the nobles--and how very stubborn Merlin is! And Norvel--I'm beginning to like him; he almost seems like who Merlin could've been if he hadn't had Gaius or Arthur. Or hadn't been magical, I suppose. Perhaps I'm drawing a parallel that doesn't really exist but either way, I'm fascinated. :)

I can't wait to see what Merlin's going to do but I'm also nervous now. If he's planning on using the land in the way I think he might be, he'd better hurry up if the Druid girl is skilled, since their magic is tied to the earth... ::bites nails:: ...of course, so is Merlin's in a way (water summoning / lightening on the Isle with Nimueh...). But still!

Can't wait for the next part, of course, but I can honestly say I'm just sitting back and enjoying the ride right now and I'll be happy to wait patiently (and re-read the already posted parts, because I can already tell this is one of those wonderful stories you get more and more out of each time you read it).
