This was stunning and amazing and a million other things that shout masterful and beautiful and intricate. You write a perfect telling of how things could be when Arthur takes the throne but more than that you say HOW they (Merlin and Arthur) got there without mkaing it sound cliche and over-hyped.

The way Merlin divided the time up, before Arthur knew and after using the 'silence' between them as referance was particularly clever.

ALL of the characters are, well, in character and thats rare. Arthur is a little older and sometimes wiser while still very much "Arthur" and Merlin is still irreverant and cheeky and loyal.

The polotics of court are amazing how you weave all the side characters and what motivates them, and how they even manage to outmanouver Arthur and Morgana a time of too!

I cant wait for more, you have me on the edge of my seat and biting at my nails.

Right now, more than ever, I want to see Merlin win this trial by spades just to spite that courtier Colgrevance!

But, i suppose all good things come to those who wait, so here I am. Waiting, and must I say i know it'll be well worth it! This story is nothing short of masterful.
